Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective date: July 12, 2026
This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to workshops, events, class sessions, and other in-person services purchased from Belly Dance Practice Studio.
Event and workshop registrations
Space in workshops and events is limited. Your registration is confirmed when payment is successfully completed.
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the event
If you contact us at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time, your registration may be transferred once to another Belly Dance Practice Studio workshop or event of equal value, subject to availability.
Credits must be used within six months of the original event date.
Cash refunds are not ordinarily provided for customer cancellations.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time are not eligible for a refund or credit.
Because space is limited and your registration reserves a place that may no longer be filled, this also applies to last-minute schedule changes, illness, transportation problems, and other personal circumstances.
Please contact us when an emergency occurs. Although we cannot promise an exception, unusual circumstances may be reviewed individually.
No-shows
Registrations are not refundable or eligible for credit when a participant does not attend and does not provide notice before the event.
Transferring your registration to someone else
You may transfer your registration to another eligible participant at no additional charge.
Please email hello@bellydancepracticestudio.com before the event with the original purchaser’s name and the name of the person who will attend instead.
The new participant must meet any age, eligibility, consent, and participation requirements that apply to the event.
Class sessions and multi-week programs
Registration for a multi-week class reserves a place for the full session.
Missed classes are not refundable and generally cannot be carried over to another session. When practical, supporting materials or a brief review may be provided, but a make-up class is not guaranteed.
A participant who withdraws before the session begins may request a credit toward a future session, provided the request is received at least 48 hours before the first class.
Once a multi-week session has begun, registration fees are nonrefundable except when required by law or when Belly Dance Practice Studio cancels the remaining session.
Late arrival
Please arrive with enough time to check in and prepare.
Late entry may be limited when joining the activity would be unsafe, disruptive, or impractical. Being unable to participate because of late arrival does not qualify for a refund or credit.
Weather and travel conditions
If an event or class proceeds as scheduled, registrations are subject to the standard cancellation terms above, even when an individual participant decides not to travel.
If Belly Dance Practice Studio cancels or reschedules an event because of unsafe weather, venue conditions, instructor illness, or another circumstance beyond our reasonable control, registered participants will be contacted using the email address provided during checkout.
Cancellation by Belly Dance Practice Studio
If Belly Dance Practice Studio cancels an event and does not offer a suitable rescheduled date, customers will receive a full refund to the original payment method.
If an event is rescheduled, customers may choose either:
Transfer their registration to the new date; or
Request a full refund.
Belly Dance Practice Studio is not responsible for separate expenses incurred by participants, including transportation, lodging, childcare, clothing, or other personal costs.
Refund processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
After a refund is submitted, the time required for it to appear in your account is determined by the payment processor and your financial institution.
Duplicate or mistaken purchases
Please contact us promptly if you believe you were charged twice or purchased the wrong event date by mistake.
We will review clear duplicate transactions and registration errors individually.

The date and time your email is received will be used to determine whether the request falls within the stated cancellation window.
Policy changes
Belly Dance Practice Studio may update this policy as its classes and services change.
The policy in effect at the time of purchase will apply to that registration unless a change is required by law or provides more favorable terms to the customer.
